Each level covers the same material as our standard nine-month program, but with the added benefit of compressed scheduling and small group sizes, so you can make the most of your summer break.
Our summer intensive program is ideal for those looking to improve their French language skills quickly and efficiently. With four classes per week and a consistent schedule, you'll have plenty of opportunities to practice your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. In addition, students are paired up with a conversation partner outside of class hours to further enhance their language proficiency. And with six levels available, you can work your way up to achieving college-level, native-like fluency in no time. 6 Levels of French
Level 1: Débutant (Beginner)
Basic greetings, vocabulary, and pronunciation, introductions, and simple sentence structures for basic conversations.
Level 3: Intermédiaire (Pre-Intermediate)
Understand all time tenses, active and passive voice, and clear up sentence structures while expanding your vocabulary.
Level 5: Avancé (Advanced)
Enrich your vocabulary and prepare for tests such as DELF and DALF, improve your fluency of speech, and learn to write basic essays.
Level 2: Élémentaire (Elementary)
Build on basic conversations and learn basic sentence structures, time tenses, and reading and listening comprehension.
Level 4: Intermédiaire avancé (Intermediate)
Expand your vocabulary and learn professional or business French, as well as formal speech to communicate more effectively.
Level 6: Avancé Supérieur (Upper-Advanced)
Practice with advanced syntax, idiomatic expressions, and literary analysis. Preparation for higher-level exams such as the C1 and C2 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as preparation for college-level French courses and writing college-level essays.
