Hi, I'm Claudia I'm here to take you on your journey to learn German language and Italian. “...but it's used as a verb” Viel zu schön (far too beautiful) um wahr zu sein (to be true) “...hold me tight, don't go away” Schön, das zu hören (nice to meet you) Und schön, dich kennenzulernen (nice to meet you) Welcome to Language Academia I'm very lucky because I grew up bilingual Italian and German and before I ever knew I loved languages I had the possibility to grow up speaking both I have had a lot of help learning English and then also Spanish. Which brought me to then move to the United States Hopefully give my passion to other people by helping them learn different languages and maybe someday travel the world or just experience other cultures different ways of doing things and just enjoying the life. Perfect for beginners. What do I teach German Italian and English for all levels German and Italian accent correction Language, culture for just Film and TV, since we are in LA One of my favorite things to teach is the different hand gestures that we have when we speak Italian but we do not have when we speak German. I like the different composure one seems very well put together and the other one is just a little more wild. In italiano parlano anche (In Italian, the hands) le mani, il ritmo (the rhythm) e il silenzio (and even silence speak) I think they are just using it more as a sound My favorite phrase in German is Klein, aber fein (small, but cute) which means small but cute perfect the way it is I'm assuming but I'm not knowledgeable What I'm most proud about I think we are very welcoming very warm. ABOUT CLAUDIA
Claudia (Laura) was born and raised in a bilingual household in Northern Italy, where she attended German schools and graduated from a language-focused high school. A native Italian speaker fluent in German, she is considered a German-speaking Italian and brings authentic European linguistic and cultural insight to her teaching.
After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in New Media Journalism, Claudia expanded her career in language education. She has lived in multiple countries and provided services ranging from tutoring and children’s summer camps to professional translations for individuals and businesses.
Claudia’s approach goes beyond grammar and vocabulary, integrating culture, tradition, and real-world context into every lesson. Her goal is to help learners fully immerse themselves in a new language and fall in love with the world it represents.
