With an M.F.A. in Acting from Indiana University, he helps performers develop authentic, character-driven speech for film, television, theatre, and professional portfolio development.
Hello there! I'm Daniel and I'm an accent coach here at Language Academia, and I specialize in voice development for actors. “and it's just like a teensy bit at the end” I work across a wide range of dialects including British Dare say you are ready to learn how to speak in proper Received Pronunciation. Australian People will tell you Sydney is nice. and my goal is to help performers sound more authentic confident and create specific voices You ain't from around here, are you? It is not just about the words, it is a music, the rhythm. Accent is not an imitation, it's understanding culture through sound. I tell you something my friend, everything is possible if you have passion. I got into voice and dialects and accents because as an actor, which I started out as first, that's sort of what I gravitated towards. It helps me create character and I found it was easy for me to do, and, as I continued to study and learn more, I found out I was pretty good at helping other people. Cause at the end of the day it's not about talking fancy, it's about connecting. ABOUT DANIEL
Daniel is a Tennessee native and Los Angeles–based dialect coach specializing in advanced accent training for serious actors. He holds an M.F.A. in Acting from Indiana University, where he also taught Voice & Speech and Acting, and supports performers in developing authentic, character-driven speech for film, television, and stage.
He has trained with leading experts including Patsy Rodenburg and Paul Meier, studied improv at The Second City in Chicago, and worked in voice-over at Voicetrax. Grounded in multiple speech and dialect pedagogies, Daniel adapts his methods to each actor’s needs, helping them master precise, believable accents with confidence and ease.
