Each level covers the same material as our standard nine-month program, but with the added benefit of compressed scheduling and small group sizes, so you can make the most of your summer break.
Our summer intensive program is ideal for those looking to improve their Spanish language skills quickly and efficiently. With four classes per week and a consistent schedule, you'll have plenty of opportunities to practice your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. In addition, students are paired up with a conversation partner outside of class hours to further enhance their language proficiency. And with six levels available, you can work your way up to achieving college-level, native-like fluency in no time. Each group is limited to 8 students. Each class is 1 hour long and takes place over zoom four times a week.
6 Levels of Spanish
Level 1: Beginner
Basic greetings, vocabulary, and pronunciation, introductions, and simple sentence structures for basic conversations.
Level 3: Pre-Intermediate
Understand all time tenses, active and passive voice, and clear up sentence structures while expanding your vocabulary.
Level 5: Advanced
You will delve deeper into the intricacies of Spanish grammar and syntax, while also refining your speaking and writing skills to a higher level, including preparing for advanced tests such as the DELE or AP Spanish.
Level 2: Elementary
Build on basic conversations and learn basic sentence structures, time tenses, and reading and listening comprehension.
Level 4: Intermediate
Expand your vocabulary and learn professional or business Spanish, as well as formal speech to communicate more effectively.
Level 6: Upper-Advanced
You will work on mastering idiomatic expressions, regional differences in Spanish, and advanced writing and speaking skills for academic and professional contexts, including business Spanish and cultural competency.
