Language Academia has created a universal system that helps students start at the very beginning (learning the letters or symbols) to speaking freely, to becoming fluent speakers of a new language.
Our tutors are highly educated in linguistics, education, and anthropology, skilled and experienced in teaching students of all ages with different approaches for kids and adults.
One-on-one classes allow maximum attention to the student's needs, speed requirements, and personal goals, which include but are not limited to TOEFL, personal growth, education abroad, relocation, and immigration.

What is Included in a Language Intensive Program
What Part Does Culture Play in Effecting a Language
Culture and language are inextricably connected to each other. Culture shapes the language and its subtle nuances. The same language can become significantly different based on the culture of the people using it. While learning a foreign language, it is critical to understand the culture to be able to communicate successfully with the target community.
Culture gives meaning and provides context to the words that are used. When you do not know the history and cultural value of a word or a phrase, you may end up offending the person on the other end without even realizing it. So, when someone learns a language, it is not enough to master the grammar and vocabulary. They must also delve into the history and culture of the community to sound natural while using the language.

National Tests
Language proficiency tests are designed to assess a person's non-native or foreign language skills. These tests usually have different components to gauge someone's ability to comprehend, speak, read, and write a foreign language. Learners need to appear for these exams to prove their language competency. When someone wants to relocate to a new country or enroll in a foreign university program, they are often required to submit the score of a standardized language proficiency test. Government institutions, as well as private organizations, conduct such exams. Some of the recognized foreign language proficiency tests are DELF (French), TOEFL (English), IELTS (English), DELE (Spanish), and CILS (Italian).
How Long Does it Take to Learn a New Language
Language learning is a complex process. It can be a long and often tedious journey based on the language you are trying to master. One of the main factors that determine the time required to learn a new language is its relation to your native language. Your exposure to the culture of the people using the language also impacts how quickly you can pick up a language. Besides, some languages are inherently more complex than others. Linguists believe that with proper guidance and the correct learning method, it can take anywhere between three months to two years for an average learner to gain intermediate fluency in a new language.
